This page contains additional information, updates and clarifications concerning the admission procedure, their venues, dates, times, etc.  The page will also post interim results of the admission procedure in order to keep applicants informed of the progress of their application. Prospective students who have applied for a placement in the PhD Programme in Translational and Precision Medicine are requested to check this page regularly.

 

The current dead line to apply for the PhD in Translational and Precision Medicine is set for January 31, 2025 at 1 p.m. (CET).

The first part of the exam (written) will take place on February 10, 2025 at 9 a.m. (CET) at "Aula A di Fisiologia", Department of Molecular Medicine (via Forlanini, 6).

The results of the written exam will be available at this link (or sent by email), by February 12, 2025.

The second part of the exam (oral) will take place on February 14, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. (CET) at "Biblioteca di Fisiologia" at the Department of Molecular Medicine (via Forlanini, 6).

Academic enquiries should be submitted to: Roberto Bottinelli, Professor of Physiology at the University of Pavia and Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Translational Medicine.  Should Prof Bottinelli be unavailable, academic enquiries may be submitted in a second instance to Livia Visai, Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Pavia and Deputy Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Translational Medicine.

All non academic enquiries (administrative, logistical, etc) should be submitted in the first instance to Barbara Quaini, support officer of the PhD Programme in Translational Medicine. Prospective students are specially encouraged to submit enquiries about accommodation because there are a number of Colleges at the University of Pavia that offer a lively cultural and social life and accommodation at below-market prices.
